INFORMACION GENERAL / GENERAL INFORMATION
OBLIGACION DE DECLARAR DINERO Y/O INSTRUMENTOS FINANCIEROS / MONEY IN CASH OR MONETARY INSTRUMENTS MUST BE DECLARED Todo viajero que ingrese o salga del MORDAZA esta obligado a declarar el dinero en efectivo y/o instrumentos financieros que porte consigo por mas de US$ 10 000,00 (Diez mil dolares EEUU) o su equivalente en otra moneda; la omision de declaracion y/o la falsedad del importe declarado MORDAZA lugar al decomiso del dinero y/o los instrumentos financieros y a las acciones civiles y penales correspondientes. All passengers that bring in or take out of Peru MORDAZA MORDAZA US$ 10 000,00 (Ten thousand US Dollars) or other currency equivalent in cash or monetary instruments are required by law to declare them; failure to declare the total amount that you are carrying may lead to the seizure of all the currency or monetary instruments, and may subject you to civil penalties and/or criminal prosecution.
PRODUCTOS RESTRINGIDOS O PROHIBIDOS / RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED PRODUCTS - Los productos silvestres requieren autorizacion del Instituto Nacional de Recursos Naturales-INRENA-CITES. - La salida de objetos culturales que no pertenecen al patrimonio historico cultural del Peru requieren autorizacion del Instituto Nacional de Cultura-INC. La salida de objetos culturales que pertenecen al patrimonio historico cultural del Peru esta prohibida. El no declarar estos articulos a su ingreso o salida puede dar lugar a sanciones administrativas y penales. - Wild products must have the required authorization issued by the National Institute of Natural Resources - INRENACITES. - Exportation of cultural objects which do not belong to the historical and cultural heritage of Peru must have the required authorization issued by the National Institute of Culture - INC. The exportation of cultural objects belonging to the historical and cultural heritage of Peru is forbidden. Failure to declare these items when entering or leaving the country may result in administrative and criminal sanctions. OPERACIONES TEMPORALES / TEMPORARY OPERATIONS El viajero residente podra formular una Declaracion de Salida Temporal de Equipaje de los articulos que porte consigo (considerados como equipaje(**) y sin fines comerciales), la que sera presentada a su retorno al MORDAZA para efectos de permitirse su ingreso libre de derechos. Resident passengers may make a Temporary Departure Declaration about the goods they take out of Peru (considered as baggage(**) and not for trading purposes). When they return to Peru, the goods MORDAZA be exempt from customs duties, only if passengers present this Declaration.
LOS VIAJEROS QUE RETORNARAN AL PERU DEBEN TENER EN CUENTA LO SIGUIENTE / TRAVELERS WHO MORDAZA RETURN TO PERU MUST CONSIDERATE THIS: EQUIPAJE EXONERADO DEL PAGO DE DERECHOS (por viajero) / BAGGAGE EXEMPT FROM CUSTOMS DUTIES (per passenger) Se encuentra exonerado del pago de derechos el ingreso al MORDAZA de los efectos personales (prendas de vestir, articulos de tocador, libros, revistas que se adviertan de uso personal del viajero), 01 secadora de MORDAZA, 01 rasuradora electrica, 01 camara fotografica y 05 rollos de pelicula, 01 filmadora o camara de videocasete no profesional y 05 rollos de casetes, 01 calculadora electrica portatil, hasta 10 unidades discos o casetes, hasta 03 litros de licor, hasta US$300 en obsequios siempre que el valor unitario no exceda de US$100, 01 maquina de escribir portatil(*), 01 instrumento musical de viento o cuerda portatil(*), 01 receptor de radio o radiograbadora o grabadora o tocacasete o tocacintas o tocadiscos (convencional o de disco compacto) o un equipo que en su conjunto los contenga siempre que sea portatil(*), 01 animal domestico vivo (previa MORDAZA de su certificacion sanitaria de origen y autorizacion de SENASA), una (1) computadora personal portatil (*); en los dos ultimos casos, siempre que arriben como equipaje acompanado. The following items are exempted from custom duties: personal effects (clothes, toiletries, books and magazines for the passengers personal use), 01 hairdryer, 01 electric razor, 01 photo camera and 05 film rolls, 01 non-professional movie camera or camcorder and 05 film cassettes, 01 portable electronic calculator, up to 10 discs or cassettes, up to 03 liters of alcoholic beverages, up to US$300 in gifts, provided their unit price does not exceed of US$100, 01 portable(*) typewriter, 01 portable(*) wind or string musical instrument, 01 radio, radio recorder, cassette recorder, cassette player, tape recorder, record player (conventional or compact disc) or a set containing a combination of the foregoing devices, only if it is portable(*), 01 living domestic animal (pet) accompanied by the pertinent sanitary certificate issued in the country of origin and the authorization issued by SENASA, 01 portable(*) personal computer. In the last two cases, only if they arrive as accompanied baggage. Cualquier otro articulo no considerado en la lista anterior debera ser detallado en el formulario de Declaracion Jurada de Equipajes - Ingreso, incluso aquellos con propositos comerciales. Other items not appearing in the foregoing list MORDAZA must be detailed in the Baggage Declaration Form Arrived, including items which are intended for trading. (*) Articulo portatil: articulo de poco peso, disenado para ser facilmente transportado y con fuente de energia propia. Portable article is a light article designed to be easily transported and with its own energy source. (**) Equipaje: todos los articulos nuevos o usados, que el viajero pueda razonablemente necesitar para el viaje y se adviertan que son para su uso y consumo de acuerdo al proposito y duracion del viaje. Baggage is all new or used articles that the passengers require for their trip and it is evident that those are for the passengers´ personal use or consumption or for gift purposes, according to the purpose and length of the trip and in such quantities to presume that is not intended for trade. SI TIENE ALGUNA DUDA SOBRE LO QUE DEBE DECLARAR PREGUNTE A UN FUNCIONARIO ADUANERO DEBIDAMENTE IDENTIFICADO / IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT WHAT ITEMS MUST BE DECLARED DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK A CUSTOMS OFFICER FOR ADVICE.
