total funding directly obligated by USAID to implementing partners under the terms of the Agreement is increased by Two Million Four Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Five United States Dollars ($2,004,835), to a new total of Eight Million Five Hundred Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Eight United States Dollars ($8,513,968). 2. The first sentence in Section 3.2 (b) (Grantee Contributions) is amended to MORDAZA as follows: "The total Grantee's contributions, based on USAID's contribution in Section 3.1(a), are expected to be at least Thirty-Nine Million Thirty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Four United States Dollars ($39,034,474), as reflected in Table 1." 3. The Illustrative Financial Plan contained in Table 1 of the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the Illustrative Financial Plan attached to this Amendment as Table 1. 4. The title of ARTICLE 7 Section 7.4 is hereby changed from "Implementation Letters" to "Use of Implementation Letters". In addition, the first paragraph of Section 7.4 is hereby deleted in its entirety, and replaced by a new paragraph, as follows: "Implementation Letters are defined in Section A.2 of Annex 2. The use of Implementation Letters is described in the following paragraphs in the above mentioned Section". Except as expressly amended or modified in this Amendment, all terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain in full force and effect. AMENDMENT No. TWO, dated ________, between the United States of MORDAZA, acting through the United States Agency for International Development ("USAID"), and the Republic of Peru ("Grantee"): WHEREAS, the Grantee and USAID entered into Assistance Agreement 527-0426 dated September 20, 2012 (the "Agreement"); WHEREAS, the Grantee and USAID amended the Agreement on MORDAZA 19, 2013 (Amendment No. One); WHEREAS, USAID agreed to MORDAZA to the Grantee, subject to the availability of funds, a total estimated contribution of Three Hundred Fifty-Five Million United States Dollars ($355,000,000) to be provided in increments under the terms of the Agreement, of which Eighty-Seven Million Three Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Five United States Dollars ($87,388,335) has been previously obligated; and WHEREAS, the Parties through this Amendment No. Two desire to amend the Agreement to: (a) Increase USAID MORDAZA funding pursuant to ARTICLE 3 Section 3.1(a); (b) Increase the Grantee's contributions pursuant to ARTICLE 3 Section 3.2(b); (c) Modify the Illustrative Financial Plan attached as Table 1 of the Agreement; and (d) Modify ARTICLE 7 Section 7.4 to change its title and replace its first paragraph in order to avoid redundancy with Section A.2 in Annex 2 regarding Implementation Letters. NOW THEREFOR, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. The text of ARTICLE 3, Section 3.1(a) is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: (a) The Grant: To help achieve the Objective set forth in this Agreement, USAID, pursuant to the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, hereby grants to the Grantee under the terms of the Agreement an additional amount of Seventy-Seven Million Four Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Six United States Dollars ($77,493,376). The total amount granted to date is One Hundred Sixty-Four Million Eight Hundred Eighty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Eleven United States Dollars ($164,881,711), (the "Grant"). Under the MORDAZA, Seventy-Five Million Four Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Five Hundred Forty-One United States Dollars ($75,488,541) are obligated by this Amendment No. Two, bringing the total funds obligated to date by the Agreement to One Hundred Fifty-Six Million Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Three United States Dollars ($156,367,743).
